STARS includes functions to help you with long range planning, reservations, scheduling, training record-keeping and communicating schedule information.
How does STARS help with long range planning?
STARS includes a Long Range Planner (LRP) that allows you to look at the impact of changing courses and classes offered, students trained and changes in critical resources such as instructors and simulators. The LRP calculates cost, revenue and profit for different training scenarios you might use, and includes powerful programs for optimizing your training plans.

STARS includes reservations forms and processes customized to allow your marketing and sales staff to easily access information needed complete reservations quickly and efficiently.
What does STARS include to help your schedulers?
STARS includes 1) automated scheduling programs that build real-world schedules quickly and accurately and 2) a Visual Schedule Editor (VSE) that allows schedulers to quickly add, change and delete schedules using graphical displays and drag/drop functionality.
What records are maintained in STARS, and how are they used?
The STARS database includes complete client, customer, instructor, curriculum and resource records. Client and customer training performance histories and data are used to simplify the reservation process. Instructor data assures the scheduling programs will not build illegal or conflicting schedules, and helps the scheduler maintain instructor legality. Resource and curriculum data provides the basis for realistic schedules that use training assets optimally.

STARS' Interactive Voice Response system allows students, instructors and management to access current schedules ant any time – from any telephone. A full set of on-screen and printed reports provide additional information.
